MOLLY MAID – RISE & SHINE

MOLLY MAID, the UK’s leading professional cleaning company, has recently returned from their annual National Convention entitledRise and Shineheld at The Royal Berkshire Hotel in Ascot. Following an inspirational three days designed to continue growing revenue and delivering service excellence, the convention concluded with a glittering Saturday night Gala dinner and the presentation of the MOLLY MAID Awards to Franchise Owners.

MOLLY MAID has a long-standing tradition and ethos of motivating and rewarding successful Franchise Owners. This year, the hotly contested Awards were presented to the following Franchise Owners in recognition for their contributions and hard work to the business over the last year.

The Top Sales Growth Winner was awarded to Regina MacDonald, MOLLY MAID Bath for achieving the highest sales growth for 2010 across the entire MOLLY MAID network. Regina increased her sales by over 44%, which was a truly outstanding achievement considering the difficult financial year the country has experienced.

The Runner-up Top Sales Growth Award was achieved by Gilly Wise, MOLLY MAID Brighton. The growth of Gilly’s business earned her the same award which she was clinched for the second consecutive year by increasing sales by over £54,000 in 2010.

The Second Runner-up Top Sales Growth Award was presented to Eva Smagacz, MOLLY MAID Haywards Heath, who managed to double her sales in 2010 from 2009.

The Quality Service and Value Award was presented to Julie Beckham, MOLLY MAID Bexley, who also grew sales significantly in a tough climate whilst providing good levels of customer care and consistently following the MOLLY MAID system. Robert Gallagher, MOLLY MAID Aire Valley was also presented this award for his tireless efforts in delivering a high quality MOLLY MAID service with low customer complaints and low staff turnover.

The convention dealt with a number of practical issues facing the business through 2011 and beyond. Enlightening presentations by noteworthy guest speakers, in particular Marc Woods the Paralympian, who spoke movingly about overcoming adversity as a one leg amputee were especially inspirational. Over the three days, there were plenty of opportunities for open questioning with a focus on growing revenue and delivering excellence as well as group discussions and interactive workshops all designed to improve skills, generate ideas and to set realistic plans to build the businesses and develop the MOLLY MAID brand even further.

“2011 is the year for adding new customers and demonstrating continued growth and as such, our convention provides the ideal platform to present proactive ways to ensure that we maintain our market leadership.” explains Pam. “We feel that we achieved this in a way that has allowed each Franchise Owner to develop their skills and techniques to maximise the true potential of their own business. Whilst MOLLY MAID has succeeded in weathering the economic climate by growing in 2009 and 2010, we have had the opportunity to share our experience of the last recession, and apply our knowledge to benefit the rest of the network. So far, we have succeeded against the odds and this year will be no different. Moreover, we will be continuing to recruit a select number of new Franchise Owners throughout the year.”
