We all aspire to being known for our high standards and professionalism – and those qualities are to be cherished even more in the cleaning business.
These were certainly the two key things that Janine Symondson was on the lookout for when searching out a partner for her business venture.
She found those in spades in MOLLY MAID in 2012 and, with their support, she has applied and developed her skills and experience to embark on a rewarding new career.
Janine has recruited and trained a highly motivated and supportive team which shares her goal of creating and delivering an increasingly profitable business.
“We all take great pride in the service we provide, enjoy making a difference to the lives of our customers and have great fun together,” she said.
The pride, fun and dedication of staff shines through in a personal service that is cherished by customers.
Elderly customers, in particular, appreciate the individual approach.
Janine said: “We have a very proud gentleman in his late eighties who waits by the window on his cleaning day for our maids to arrive.
“As part of his regular clean we change his bed linen, but we are not allowed in his kitchen as he has informed us that this is his responsibility!
“It was his daughter in Devon who contacted us initially about cleaning for her father, so her number is also recorded in case of any emergencies.
“One Friday, when the maids arrived, our customer collapsed in front of them as he opened the door.
“They acted quickly, called for an ambulance, informed me and I then contacted his daughter.
“We consider all our customers to be special and I can genuinely say that we always try to provide a service that goes the extra mile.”
That sense of working with the customer is at the heart of Janine’s outlook.
It was reflected in a testimonial from Mr and Mrs C, of Long Crendon, who wrote:
“We wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you very much for the service your staff have given us since our initial clean back in September.
“Not only the standard of work but the sense of co-operation that goes with it.”
