Stop Spreading Germs in the Kitchen – MOLLY MAID Explains How

Do you ever use your tea towel as a hand towel as well?

It’s actually not a good idea, because germs are often spread between the two towels. Remember, bacteria require moisture to multiply and survive. When you are drying your hands on a towel and then using that same damp towel to dry dishes… well, you never know what kinds of germs you are passing around.

Instead, MOLLY MAID recommends that you have separate towels -one for drying dishes and one for drying wet hands.

One way to differentiate is to use different colour towels, or different patterned towels, for different functions. For example, use a blue plaid towel for dishes and a pink flowered towel for your hands.

This is just another great green cleaning tip that you can use every day!
