We spoke to Director of Business Development, Aaron Watson, who has been with the brand for 15 years. Molly Maid is not only the most recognised brand in the home cleaning industry (confirmed by YouGov) but has also won the 5-star Franchisee Satisfaction Award with WorkBuzz four times!

“We don’t only provide customers with a clean and sanitised home. We give them the gift of time back, so they can spend more time doing what they love,” says Aaron. “We also work hard to support our franchise operators, helping them grow sales and become more profitable. Over the past few years, some of our franchisees have seen sales double or even triple in size. We’ve seen some really strong growth,” he adds.


Aaron explains that has been a helpful resource to Molly Maid for many years. Out of all the platforms the brand has used, has given the most support and success.

“It’s a great source of high-volume leads, and it gives us valuable exposure, particularly with our franchise resales,” says Aaron.

Aaron’s advice to new franchise buyers:

    • What are the margins?
  2. Thoroughly research the brand. Understand who the franchisor and franchisees are, and if your values align with them. Review competitors so you can make sure the brand you do choose is best suited to your skills and lifestyle.
  3. Interrogate numbers. Always understand the financial details. Ensure you aren’t getting presented with aspirational numbers. You should be able to achieve them, and the brand should be able to demonstrate examples of where these have been achieved before.
