The very first MOLLY MAID customer was cleaned in 1979 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada by our founders Adrienne and Chris Stringer. The Stringers believed that busy families and homeowners would rather spend the time it takes to clean their home following other more enjoyable pursuits.

It didn't take long for the name MOLLY MAID to become a household name in Mississauga and the surrounding area. One reason was our easily identifiable pink and blue corporate colours. In fact, even today many know of MOLLY MAID as much by these distinctive colours on our vehicles as by our commitment to providing the highest quality house cleaning possible.

Since 1979, MOLLY MAID has expanded not only across Canada, but also into the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan and Portugal. This year alone, MOLLY MAID will perform more than 2 million home cleans worldwide.
